Senior Copywriter

Responsibilities

  • Brainstorms with creative / account team on new creative needs.
  • Works with creative director or art director to review creative strategies, develop concepts and provide copy on proposed projects.
  • Writes and prints preliminary copy draft in established format to meet specified deadlines.
  • Writes copy for multi-channel MD acquisition initiatives, sales collateral, sales aides, corporate branding campaigns, activation and retention efforts.  Acquisition efforts include email, online and print advertising, direct mail materials, radio scripts, and other related informative and promotional materials that meet program objectives.
  • Reviews copy with creative director and account teams to ensure adherence to strategic focus and tone, negotiates changes, and corrects and revises copy until approved.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years experience as a copywriter.
  • Experience writing for pharma, healthcare and technology highly desired.
  • Proven ability to develop compelling and effective concepts and carry through project execution.
  • Experience writing for all marketing channels including:  direct mail, print, DRTV and interactive, and an understanding of how to translate a brand in these mediums.
  • Excellent writing, grammar skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to concept independently as well as part of a team.
  • Develop copy that conforms to layout and other design restrictions yet maintains the consistent voice and style of the website.
  • Self-starter with team orientation. Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and flexible environment.
