What is the best way to treat menstrual migraines in a patient who is on OCPs for birth control if migraines are on the "off" week? Is it best to try an extended OCP (seasonique) or are there other hormonal options. I have heard of using Vivelle dot on the "off" week, but will that change the effectiveness of the OCP for birth control?
