Peter Kirk is the CEO of SERMO. Since launching the company in 2000, Peter has grown the organization into an enterprise with over 200 employees in 8 global offices and a global network of close to two million healthcare professionals.

Under Peter’s leadership, SERMO membership has increased over 300 percent in the past two years and has become the #1 Social Network for Doctors globally. Peter has been a true thought leader and innovator in medical crowdsourcing, helping advance heath outcomes across the globe by allowing doctors to work effortlessly in teams at scale. The social network now has over 550,000 physicians from over 90 different specialties and sub-specialties. SERMO is available in 24 different countries including the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Mexico, South Africa, Spain, Italy, Argentina, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, New Zealand, France, Finland, Colombia, Venezuela, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Peru, and Israel, with plans for a continued global expansion.

Peter holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School.

At SERMO, the leading global social network for doctors, Osnat heads corporate strategy, marketing and community development. She leverages market opportunities, revenue drivers, customer insights, product development, and partnerships to drive user and revenue growth. She is responsible for corporate and commercial marketing, physician engagement, public relations, social media and SERMO’s international expansion.

Prior to joining the company, Osnat founded a strategic marketing consultancy where she re-positioned biotech and healthcare brands and companies, and helped change organizations’ business trajectories. Osnat also brings a decade of pharmaceutical brand management and marketing experience from her experiences at Amgen and Bristol Myers Squibb. Prior to that, she held both PR and market research consulting positions in the healthcare and biotech field.

Osnat graduated with a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Montreal.

Gerard joined SERMO in 2011 as the Chief Financial Officer responsible for the company wide Finance, HR and Legal functions along with Investor Relations. Previously he was EMEA CFO of Acxiom, a global Marketing Services Company with revenues exceeding $1.1 billion, CFO of Easynet, a former BSkyB Company, with revenues of $400 million and has held several international finance leadership roles in Dell Corporation during a period in which the business grew from one billion to $13 billion. Gerard has over 25 years of finance experience and graduated with a Business degree from City University, London and is a Chartered Marketer and Chartered Management Accountant.

Mark heads up the global sales efforts at SERMO, where he brings 30 years of insight and successful experience centered on satisfying customers’ needs. Mark has spearheaded large custom research initiatives in oncology, multi-cultural efforts, and consumer audits, and ran global account service teams at his previous career stops: InCrowd, HRA Healthcare Research & Analytics, Phoenix Healthcare and GfK.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys cooking, traveling, fine wines, and spending very early mornings at the gym.

DOUGLAS P. FIELDS, Jr.

VP, Technology

Doug started his career in fintech, before the term was coined, working his way up to partner at a regional investment bank which was acquired by PaineWebber/UBS. Concurrently, he started a telecommunications exchange company which he later sold to his partner. He then founded an e-mail services provider and built it without any outside investment until selling it eight years later, and working with the acquiring firm for five years. He now brings his experience leading engineering teams spread across time zones and continents to SERMO.

Giles joined SERMO in April 2014 as General Counsel responsible for legal and compliance.

Previously he has worked for Bracewell & Giuliani LLP in Houston Texas as a corporate and M&A specialist working in the energy sector. For over a decade Giles worked for Acxiom Corporation, a global leader in offline/online marketing services, in the US and latterly as European Counsel responsible for legal and privacy matters for all of Acxiom’s European operations.

Recently he has been responsible for structuring and executing various strategic projects including; a $15m French asset trade sale, a Dutch MBO, selling a 1000+ seat UK contact centre to a VC and a US/Dutch tax restructuring.

Giles was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1998 and is a member of the Texas and Louisiana State bars, he is dual UK/US national.

OREN HALLALE, PhD

SVP, Global Head of Commercial Operations

Oren is currently responsible for the diverse portfolio of operational activities in the company’s Intelligence and Engagement divisions, including project management, procurement, contact centres, quality management, data delivery and language services. He also oversees the running of SERMO’s Knowledge Centres, located across three continents.

Oren holds a doctorate in supramolecular chemistry from the University of Cape Town for research relating to crystallography and self-assembly of new nanomaterials. He is published in several international chemical journals.
