Sermo AI Overview

  • Cleocin T is generally viewed as an effective treatment for various infections, particularly for acne vulgaris and skin infections. In these cases, it shows high safety and tolerability ratings, making it a favorable choice for healthcare providers.
  • While Cleocin T demonstrates a favorable profile in treating certain conditions, such as impetigo and infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria, its efficacy can be mixed depending on the specific infection, with varying results noted across medical specialties.
  • Adherence to Cleocin T presents challenges for some patients, particularly due to complex dosing schedules and potential antibiotic resistance concerns. Variability in adherence ratings indicates that while some find it manageable, others struggle to comply.
  • Certain specialists caution against using Cleocin T for treating appendicitis, pneumonia, or diabetic foot ulcers due to limited efficacy and safety concerns like the risk of pseudomembranous colitis. Alternatives are often recommended in these cases.

Key inactive ingredients include isopropyl alcohol in the solution, allantoin in the gel, and cetostearyl alcohol in the lotion.
