What should I tell my care team before I take this medication?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:
-Bleeding disorder
-Fever or infection
-History of Guillain-Barre syndrome
-Immune system problems
-An unusual or allergic reaction to diphtheria toxoid, meningococcal vaccine, latex, other vaccines, other medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-Pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-Breastfeeding
What may interact with this medication?
-Adalimumab
-Anakinra
-Certain medications for arthritis
-Infliximab
-Medications for organ transplant
-Medications to treat cancer
-Medications used during some procedures to diagnose a medical condition
-Other vaccines
-Steroid medications, such as prednisone or cortisone

What should I watch for while using this medication?
Report any side effects to your care team right away. Call your care team if you have any unusual symptoms within 6 weeks of getting this vaccine.
This vaccine may not protect from all meningitis infections.
Talk to your care team if you may be pregnant.
