-An unusual or allergic reaction to iohexol, iodine, other medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives

-Beta blockers, such as metoprolol or propranolol
-Certain medications for depression, anxiety, or other mental health conditions
-MAOIs, such as Marplan, Nardil, and Parnate
-Metformin
-Phenothiazines, such as chlorpromazine, prochlorperazine, thioridazine
-Radioactive iodine
