Urso Forte contains the active ingredient ursodiol in the form of a naturally occurring bile acid. It is available as 250 mg and 500 mg film-coated tablets for oral administration. Key inactive ingredients include Sodium Starch Glycolate, Povidone, and Magnesium Stearate. Ursodiol is commonly used to manage cholesterol levels in bile and may help in preventing or treating gallstones.
How should I use this medication?
Take this medication by mouth with water. Take it as directed on the prescription label at the same time every day. Keep taking it unless your care team tells you to stop.
Take antacids at a different time of day than this medication. Take this medication 1 hour BEFORE or 2 hours AFTER antacids.
