Bronchitol contains mannitol as the active ingredient, which is a hexahydric sugar alcohol. It is formulated as an inhalation powder contained in clear, colorless hard gelatin capsules, with each capsule holding 40 mg of mannitol. The inhalation powder is delivered using a white plastic inhaler. There are no inactive ingredients in Bronchitol.
How should I use this medication?
This medication is inhaled through the mouth. Do not swallow the capsules. Take it as directed on the prescription label at the same times every day. Use your short-acting "quick-relief" medication 5 to 15 minutes before every dose of this medication. Do not use this medication more often than directed. Keep taking it unless your care team tells you to stop.

What if I miss a dose?

Where should I keep my medication?
Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Store at room temperature between 20 and 25 degrees C (68 and 77 degrees F). Keep this medication in the original container until you are ready to take it. If your medication is stored at temperatures more than 30 degrees C (86 degrees F), get rid of it. Do not refrigerate. Do not freeze. Get rid of the inhaler after 7 days of use and get a new one.
