Revised Death Rate Projections Reflect Physicians’ Fears

The majority of Sermo physicians are not surprised that the daily death rate in the U.S. from Covid-19 could double by June. The New York Times recently published this revised death rate projection, and this is how Sermo physicians react…

In response to the poll of 1,100+ Sermo physicians, 78% fear that reopening the economy will trigger a new wave of the coronavirus. Despite these fears, 65% of Sermo physicians confirm that local restrictions are being lifted in their own communities. 

When asked about disinfecting the virus, only 26% of physicians believe that UV light will work; 52% believe it’s worth a try, but they’re not convinced UV light will work; 17% believe it will not work as a disinfectant.
